Ah yes....the ol' ram the chair against the Steel Guitar...remember it well.   Always thought that was a little excessive, but Rusty always seemed to me to be a pretty goofy guy, and I've met him a couple of times. Great sense of humor, maybe that's where it came from.  He did that a lot during their 1974 era lineup, I think around the time SEVEN came out.  Maybe he still does it, as an adolescent sort of outlet.  Cool though.  Hendrix burned his strat, Rusty "chaired" his steel, Alice Cooper drank blood, Ozzy ate a chicken head, or whatever.. The Theatre aspect of Rock/Pop music has always fascinated me, especially the costumes, hair, clothes, no clothes..

I mean Jerry Lee Lewis was always doing something lewd with the piano.  Remember the "mad, mad world of Athur Brown"...I think he lowered himself onto his piano/organ stool with a pulley system, or set himself on fire.   I did LOVE that Song, "Fiyuh" though.  Crazy Englishman.

Shit, I'm rambling....maybe my medication is waring off.

Thanks Dog, for the info on Sky Kings.  What a lineup!  I will try to get my hands on it.  Why oh why did Rusty pick Nashville as a home base?

Here's the link (amazing amount of research this guy did, who put it together.  I went to 4 Poco shows over a 20 year period, and he got all of them dead accurate; amazing):
