Any Poco fans in the audience?   They have a new, updated site, and there is a site called "Deliverin'", with a year by year chronology of EVERY concert they ever played, or were scheduled to play.

In the early to mid-70's I was very intrigued by the outlaw country rock sound (nope, NOT the Eagles).  My favs were Poco, Flying Burrito Bros, Byrds (esp with Clarence White and Gene Parsons), Pure Prarie League (only the 1st two albums with Craig what's his name..), Stephen Stills' Manassas, the Outlaws etc...

Poco above all were my favorite, because I thought they were so "artistic" and creative in their approach. Every recording offered something new, and great songwriting.

Live, they really rocked the joint.   I'm glad to see they are playing together again.   I have seen various re-incarnations of them over the years, but now it seems they are really serious about regrouping.  I suppose Paul Cotton and Rusty Young are the only long-term members,  and Rusty the only ORIGINAL band member since their inception in 1969.  I heard George Grantham (the original drummer), may be back as well.   All of their bassists "defected" to the Eagles, including Randy Meissner and Tim ("don't Bogart that joint") Schmidt.*

Any other Poco "Locos" out there....lemme know.

*: From a backstage "interview" of sorts I had with Timothy Schmidt, after a show in Montreal, many, many, moons ago....
