Well, I'm havin' trouble locatin' that link for the Deliverin' site.

I have always enjoyed Poco ( and the Eagles too and I'll say it out loud ). I saw Poco back in the 70's and I would like to figure out when which is why I was looking for that site link. I remember when Rusty used to pick up a folding chair and play the steel with the bottom runner of the chair.

In '96 I saw Rusty Young ( in the round ) at The Bluebird Cafe. I was sitting so close I was practically in the circle of performers, Jimmy Messina was in the audience and he came up for a couple of numbers.

Craig Fuller of Pure Prarie League ( and Little Feat ) was either there the same night or the next night, I'm not sure which, I was there for several evenings in a row.

That was around the time that Rusty was in a short lived band with Bill Lloyd, John Cowan and Patrick Simmons ( Doobie Bro. ) called The Sky Kings. Patrick dropped out before the short tour they did but I did get to see that tour. The band had super group potential but the powers that be in Nashville pushed them to be a "commercial country" band.

They had two albums in the can, neither of which ever got released. BUT ....Rhino Hand Made has released a Sky Kings cd ( very limited edition ) which contains all the tracks for one of those disks plus some studio material that wasn't planned for the release.

This is probably more then you wanted to know...
