It's a matter of preference. I can hear the difference on my home stereo and on the headphones I use with my iPod. If you can't, don't spend the time and storage space.I often consider re-ripping at a lower rate (256) in order to be able to fit more on my iPod, but when I listen to the difference and think about the time it will take, I just let it go.
