Ok Pat - you state that Saddam had a WOMD program as if it were fact.  It is not fact.  The teams of weapons inspectors sent into Iraq (and ordered out by the US) in 1998 claimed that Iraq's WOMD capabilities were 90-95% destroyed with no evidence of any ongoing production.  The teams sent in before this current war stated time and again in the UN that they could not produce evidence of a WOMD program in Iraq - chemical, biological, or nuclear.  Now, Bush and Blair (and that liar Powell) claimed to have hard evidence to the contrary - they were sure of it.  45 minutes 'til mushroom cloud has turned into 45 days of finding NOTHING.  Nothing Pat.  Now, if you want me to swallow the shit George is dishing - no thanks.  The right's argument of late has been - show me the proof there was no WOMD program.  Well little fox freinds - two teams of inspectors and a 45+ day occupation has proved otherwise.  If it ain't there - you ain't gonna find it. 

Here's a little quiz for all of the fox friends on this board.  I'm going to post some of the laughable spins this administration has used to justify this war and you prove ANY of them.

1. 9/11 accomplice.
2. Bin Laden ally.
3. Real threats to the US with their WOMD program.

Again, I'll state that I would have had no problem with this war if our President would not have lied to justify it.  How about something like this - "We have no proof that Saddam has a WOMD program, we have not a single shred of evidence that Saddam had anything to do with 9/11, but we think it would be a good idea to demolish and then occupy Iraq...ok, who's with me?"

I don't mean to sound glib about this Pat.  I'm just as sickened as most people are at the regime of Saddam, and I'm glad it seems to be over.  But no amount of flag waving and color coded scare tactics will convince me that Iraq posed such a threat to my safety that we need to go to war with them.
