I don't know where you got those figures but lets put it into perspective here. Clinton's unchecked wheeling and dealing gave us very false prosperity. Falsified books of the big 10 with one corporate scandal after another. These all happened during the Clinton years and under his watch. We were already in the midst of a recession as he was exiting office. Look at the numbers for the economy in 2000-2001 and you will see the slowdown and I shutter to think what would have become of the economy with Algore after 9/11. You think this is crappy what do you think he would have done

Time will tell DanO and if he is truly lying(which he is not) it will come out and he will not be re-elected. It would be nice if the Dems did not send 5 or 6 Bob Dole (lame duck) candidates to face him. 2008 will be intesting.
