In watching John Kerry on O'reilly (now that is something), it became clear that this was a partisan pissing match with both parties to blame. Pelosi decided to blast her fellow Republican members with a 5 minute tirade about how it was the Bush Economic Policy that caused this. Pleeeeeeeeese you fucking self righteous bitch (notice no C word here). So the vote came down as a Fuck You to Pelosi. Again great leadership on her part. Bottom line here is that they will pass this thing quickly (with little if any revisions) Thursday and mean time we all get fucked again. Democrats had a true chance to shine but could only muster 60% of their own party for support. I mean I'm reminded of the Animal House scene "Thank you sir can I have another". We have proved nothing and in the end our 401's will reflect it.
