Had a great ride and lived to tell about it. Truth is, since we had a recent cardiac victim in our midst, we chose a "mostly" downhill route. Twenty miles is twenty miles, right ? :-)
My friend's wife had an innertube blowout, fortunately, I came prepared. Gotta prcatice safe cycling ya know.
We made it from White Top Station to Green Cove Station ( featured in a well known O. Winston Link photo ), on to Taylor's Valley where they have a lovely cafe what caters to trail folk who ride up for lunch. Then, on to Damascus, from which we began.
Other then the flat and a possible, sevier brush with poison ivy ( I've been rinsing under cold water for about 25 minutes ), it was a great ride and I'm not even worn out. ( yet )
