I'm in a mood today too...can't believe all of those people have viewed your song and not commented, so I will. It's beautiful in a sad kind of way.  Reminds me of  Kevin Gilbert's "Song for a dead friend" which I guess it is - for your friend - regret for a life too short.

My best friend's mother is in the rundown to death and we've spent a lot of time talking. It doesn't matter what age someone is when they die, it's usually too soon, and we're rarely ready for it.
