I saw REM on the Life's Rich Pageant tour in Dallas.

The beautiful outdoor bandshell at Fair Park was full, and all but a half dozen or so fans were perfectly behaved. However the half dozen knocked over a saw horse barrier in front of the stage.

So instead of security handling it and everyone being happy, Stipe tells the crowd if they don't stop they were gonna stop playing. After that the night disentegrated and the show became one of the bigger disappointments I've ever witnessed.

What is with vegans and their tempers? Maybe they should just cool down with a Slim Jim.

I do think I'll go buy the new album. I haven't bought anything by them since that one album that had one sort of okay track and the rest sucked.
