"Let me ask you this Reg, do you think McCain represents the belief the base of the Republican party?"
I would say if you wanted the guy that is closest to true old fashioned Republican "values" your candidate should be Ron Paul but since he's not on the table here if I'm just comparing McCain to Romney there is no big difference between them really...I mean just in terms of how "Republican" they are.
"Are you saying that those who do not want him "in" are Neo-Conservatives?"
I'm certainly saying the neo-cons do not want McCain...100% true, yes. I'm not saying everybody that does not want him is a neo-con...no, that would be false. Most times when I'm talking about this stuff I'm not talking about you and me...like regular voters...I'm talking about the higher ups that work for and make decisions about the party. We just vote, Pat...I don't work for either party, do you?
"Hardly because we (conservatives) know exactly what McCain's stance is on very key issues."
What key issues would those be, Pat? Let me guess, is illegal immigration one of them? Right at the top too, I bet! I know that was moved to the top of the "crank" list for this election...ahh...I think it takes the place of gay marriage this time out. List the issues, Pat, I'm very curious because I bet they have all been sold to you the same way they sell you the "peanut butter that tastes best"...you know like "choosy moms choose Jif!"
Look, I know I don't know the secret conservative handshake but I do know these fellas have been working overtime to make sure "real conservatives" believe illegal immigration is one of if not our biggest problem. So list the big issues McCain is not "conservative" on...
"So if the choices were Hillary or John Mc it would be the choice of Hillary or Hillary light."
What? Come on now, Pat, McCain at least pays his dues to the same club as you. You at least have to stand by your man in that regard don't you? Hell, even a commie like me thinks Hillary sucks far worse than John McCain and I wouldn't insult him by calling him "Hillary light"...or is it Hillary Lite? Either way, McCain is in no way Hillary. I find Romney much more like Hillary. In fact I have a hard time knowing which is which...these pigs should wear collars or something.
"That combined with the fact that he looks like he could role over and die at any moment makes him less than the ideal candidate."
Hey, who was that hilarious asshole that went on tv and radio for one of the other Republican candidates and actually stood up there and gave a speech about how McCain was aging 4 times as fast as the other candidates...ha...and the best part was the shithead was serious! Was that Chuck Norris...I can't remember now.
Hey, plus Rambo has endorsed McCain! You like Rambo don't you?
