Well, I see you gave us a list to make recommendations from and the first thing Baerwald does is pick something not on the list! Lists! We don't need no stinking lists!So here's one (off the list you'll notice) that I own and love, The Complete Mr. Arkadin. It's a three disc box set that, if you like Welles, you must own or at least see. I had previous versions of this film on public domain discs and it was in rough shape. It's amazing what Criterion did with it and the thing is because it was in such bad shape I don't think the film was ever shown much so I think a lot of people have never seen it. So, if you've never had the chance, Ed, check that one out.
That Criterion list is great but I'm with Ross...how the hell did The Rock and Armageddon get on that list?
