I still don't like them (musically), but I agree, they are free to say whatever they like, and use whatever platform they like, and if their fanbase is still out there..great.  I'm not condemning what Vedder did...I thought, as I said in the post that it was "interesting", and judging by all your varying heated responses, it apparently was...interesting, that is.
