I'm sort of baffled by those who think artists shouldn't speak of how they feel about issues. What is the difference between CSNY singing a song such as "Ohio" and that of standing at the mic and informing the audience the song is about students killed at Kent State?Oddly, I'm surprised anyone who would attend a Pearl Jam concert would have been surprised about their views. Their politics have always been well known. And frankly, I want to know the views of people I am spending money on.
