Being outspoken...provoking conversation...trying to make an audience talk and think and then talk some more...isn't that one of the best things about art? Don't you like movies that keep your mind engaged after you've seen it? Songs that are memorable not only for the music, but the thought behind it? I fucking LOVED 'Not for You' by Pearl Jam even though it's a stripped down unarranged tune...at this point I thought they were purposely writing shit so they could disappear while appeasing the record company contract or something...Perhaps not...I thought Vitalogy shoulda been called 'departure' a la Journey album titles...
