bizarrely enough, for a mild case, i've tried everything and the thing that worked for me, was aiming a hairdryer at the rash and taking as much heat as i could stand. stopped the itching for hours and dried up the rash. it was a good kinda burning pain while i did it, too.messy, hope you got the shot and feel better. it's the pits.
