Icon Some truth about these candidates...

I have to say it is my personal mission to see that Mitt Romney is not elected to anything. Certainly not President of the United States. Romney is so slick that if you wrapped him in barbed wire he'd slide out without a scratch. The man is totally full of shit and is exactly the kind of guy that we need to move away from...a guy that will put corporate interests ahead of what's best for this country. He'd sell his wife and children to close a deal and he's primed to step in and work every loophole the boys from Bushco created for him. He began his campaign with an ocean of bullshit and really it'll just go downhill from there. He's a GOP golden boy and all of those horseshit frat boys descended on our commonwealth to throw a bag over the head of acting Republican governor Jane Swift, tie her up, throw her in the trunk of a car and drive her out of town so their buddy Mitt could take over. The man is so disgustingly two faced you don't know which side to slap. Do not fall for his game show host tap dance and the wink and nod that if he's elected he'll make sure you win the grand prize behind door number two...this is the most full of shit mainstream candidate for president we've ever seen. Hands down, case closed.

Moving on...

Rudy Giuliani stands out from the crowd he's running against in a couple different ways, one huge one being his ego. The Grand Canyon is not big enough to hold this mans ego. Now that fact does not really damn him from becoming president, in fact of the big Republican candidates Rudy scares me the least, except for the occasions where he appears to be a psychotic twat. He leans pretty liberal on stuff, could give two shits about what the Christian Right thinks, has the background that seems to indicate he can take over a situation that's a big mess and clean it up, and due to that ego appears to be a guy that if elected will be his own man. Of course there is that small issue that he might be a psychotic twat.

Fred Thompson is a puppet and is entering the race because there is no candidate that all wingnuts can agree on. He's been a corporate shill for years (read that as lobbyist puke) and Karl Rove's hand seems to already be moving so far up his ass that he'll soon be able to brush his teeth for him. The fact is this election will be about getting rid of guys like Rove and his pals and if you are going to hire Tim Griffin to run your campaign for you...well...how about you just set your head on fire and we'll all help you put it out with our baseball bats.

John Edwards will forever be haunted by the specter of his horrific showing in his debate with Cheney. I'm well aware this has damned him in many eyes. I can't blame anybody for feeling that way but I don't think it's how he should forever be judged. He's not the best candidate but I like him more than Hillary or Obama. It seems Gore is going to run, this shocks me, so perhaps he'll be the guy. I really don't know. On the question you feel he dodged Peter, keep in mind that sometimes candidates at certain stages of a campaign do not answer all questions because they don't want to give their opponents room to attack them. I can't say this is why he dodged but it may be a reason he did. Perhaps later in the campaign he'll have a response that seems to indicate he's got a clear direction.
