Pete, that's dissapointing but not surprising.  Don't put your faith in the Dems.  They are scoundrels of another ilk and will just say what it takes to get votes.   More gentle liars than the Republicans.  Most of 'em F.O.S. 

I have decided either not to vote, next time, or find/discover an Independent candidate(s) whose choices I can live with.   Any suggestions, recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Even though there are some moderate Republicans, I suppose I have to agree with David that they need to be collectively spanked, not forgiven,  and not supported next time 'round.
