one more thing, Ross, & then I definitely gota go play a set o tennis with his coolness.

Looking back, we may never have actually known a true version of life, liberty & the

pursuit of happiness.  I mean, when one people were thriving, it was on the backs or with

ill-regard for another people.  That means it’s always just been a meaningful notion, a tag-

line, a billboard worthy of the skyline, …and perhaps nothing more.  …It’s a good tagline

though.  I’ve seen some truth to it in the eyes of certain folks @ a dais near you.  Sean

Penn had it in his eyes recently and I’ve seen it in the eyes of certain Congresspersons.

It’s not about fiscal mathematics, it’s about physical limitations.  You’ve been duped,

I’ve been duped, …& we either damn or justify the future dupings that our children

& their children will be beneficiaries to in the future.   A billion dollars is a scary sum

though, & those who can wield that sort of power are giants…in a land of giants, …

I’m no giant.  Are you a giant?   You remember the novel, One Flew Over the

Cuckoo’s Nest, by Ken Kesey?  What he alluded to then, although in a sorta

comic book way, was not all that far from the truth.  It’s like The Combine.

Spooky stuff.  Enough to quell thought…& lower heads to the tarmac &

moot pacification.  I may choose that path soon too.  Oh to be a monk.

I know it’s big, big-big, this world embassy of Finance & Right-Minded Might.

I just hope in the end, after all is said & done, it will not have been for naught; …

Because I’ve known the tides roll in on a soft beach as far as my eyes could see.
