2. Krokus and Blackfoot, Fox Theater, San Diego, 1984ish.  Krokus opened and did way too good a job - the crowd was in an absolute frenzy, and they even played a couple encores. Blackfoot came out and couldn't do anything right - they even milli-vannilied it for the harmonica at the beginning of Train, train. Probably played 40 minutes before being booed off the stage.

A bit of Trivia here but did you know that Ricky Medlocke played drums with Lynyrd Skynrd before they released "Pronounced". He played on a demo of "Freebird" that is on the latest rendition of an album called "First and Last". This was a studio version that sounded almost identical to the live version on "Live from the Fox Theatere".
It was made up in Muscle Shoals in like 1970 or 1971 which is where
they came up with the line "Muscle Shoals has got the Swampers". The
Swampers were guys at the Muscle Shoals studio. The demo album went nowhere and then Al Kooper came along in 1973 re-did Freebird released "Pronounced" and the rest is history

Ricky now plays with the Lynyrd Skynrd of today but they have never
been anything without Ronnie. Ok I'll stop now...............
