The first concert post get me to thinking. What was my favorite concert and what was the worst. Not to start another massive thread but I do remember the the best and the worst: In 1979 I got to see the EAGLES live in Ft. Worth at the TCCC. Not knowing a whole lot about their music other than the incessantly played Hotel California I went to see them. I have heard them criticized for not putting on more of a show and sounding "Too much" like the record. Anyone who has bought or rented the "Hell Freezes Over DVD" will have to concur that these guys know how to sound good in Concert. The next most memorable show I saw was David Baerwald at the Steamboat the first time with 4 others in audience. I had never heard AFM and originally hated Triage went it came out so it was really a treat to hear "Waiter", "Armageddon" live. Triage is now one of my alltime Faves but WTTBT will always be my favorite. I could go on but needless to say I became a fixture at the shows after that.

The absolute hands down worst show I ever went to was BOSTON in 1986 or 1987. They sounded horrible. If I didnt know that was Brad Delp up there I would have sworn it was a bad copycat band. My latest dissappointment was Natlie Merchant back on July 4th
