Keep it out of direct sunlight.And change the tuning heads, but keep the old ones.
Buy a set of Schallers.If the strings get old, and you don't want to change them, put
some abradent toothpaste, (like Pepsodent) on a rag, rub it in, and
clean the strings with it. Actually grab the string in the Pepsodent-soaked rag, and drag the
rag up and down the string. Squeeze the string. Quick and dirty solution if youre in a pinch and cant change the
set.
