My friend Mark had a Hagstrom, and it sounded amazing, but it was set up with the action so high that A) it was almost impossible too play, and B) you had to press so far down on the strings to touch fret that it always played slightly out of tune. Was prejudiced against Hagstroms ever since. I should get over it and go play one.
