I've played a Hagstrom bass a couple times. Not sure which year it was, but it looked and sounded cool. If it's reasonably priced, go for it, you can't have too many guitars in your collection!!! You'll have practice all sorts of Byrds tunes now that you've got an electric 12 string (even if it's not a Rickenbacker) ;)
