One of my really good friends has been around horses all her life and tells great stories about the physical part of breeding. Were you talking to the bulls while photographing them? They all seem to be looking at the camera. Is it just you and your husband that do everything or do you have hired hands? And, yeah, becoming a vet would've been really handy, but learning on the job can't be to bad.
