By the way, how do you out a guy that most folks already know is gay? The Big Gay Ken stuff has been around for quite some time...I think Maher chose Mehlman because of the fact that it's common knowledge he's gay.

The Log Cabin Republicans support Mehlman and in a way he's like a hero to them. They actually don't care that Mehlman has been an anti-gay activist because they know he does not discuss his homosexuality because it could cause the Republicans to lose votes or Mehlman (one of the RNC's best and brightest) to lose his position. They need to gay bash to fool the Christians basically...that's pretty damn honest of them, huh?

Take Log Cabin Republican Fred Bachhuber he said of Mehlman coming out (back in March of 2005) “He just can’t do it yet, but as long as he’s sleeping with men behind the scenes, that’s all I care about.”

I'm sure that's all Pat cares about too.

Hey, Mehlman has used gay issues as a political football to con votes out of Christians. He openly said gay issues are fair game to be used as political bait.

I could care less that Mehlman is gay but there is no question that the fact that he is is funny as hell. Are you saying we should care or shed a tear for Mehlman because now his own tactics are being used against him? Hey, Mehlman is a political hitman whose job it is to invent ways for his party to win votes.

He lives in a place where it's ok to invent scandals to be used against his opponents and if he had any dirt on the next Democrat his party faced he'd launch it into the stratosphere for all to see like fourth of July fireworks. The man lives to do damage to others. It was Kenny, Karl, and pals that invented the "America is in a culture war" rhetoric that Dildo O'Reilly is now selling as his own book. They love to separate us and keep us at each others throats.
