I'm with you on this one, Pat. Without ironclad guarantees that we are not creating new embryos explicitly for destruction in stem cell research, we ought not to go forward with public funding. To me, that seems like a no-brainer, and I'm surprised it has turned up as a liberal vs. conservative issue.
