Pat, did it every occur to you that FOX puts "lightweight lefties" on their shows simply to knock them down? 
Look at "Hannity and Colmes."   Here you have Hannity, a boy scout and former construction worker who now has the ear of the Vice President... 
Err and that is a bad thing? Construction workers, are you putting them down?

 To his left he has this mousy squirrel of a fellow Colmes who looks like a recovered burn-out from Berkeley.  Colmes never wins the argument... 
I'll give you that one. Colmes actually has sit-ins that do better than he does.

I mean, if FOX were honest and wanted to be "fair and balanced," they'd make it "Hannity and Carville."  Of course, Carville would make mince-meat out of Hannity every evening, but that wouldn't be good for FOX, now would it? 
I've watched Hannity go up against Carville and he holds his own. It would be more interesting though.

If you honestly think that O'Reilly is correct in his thinking, then you have fallen into a trap he has created for you.  He's like a magician that shows you what he wants to show you and then magically makes something (like the truth or inconvenient facts) disappear.  Hell, if necessary, he invents truth - I mean, who has the time to check or correct him.  And who wants to get into an argument with a loud-mouth jackass like O'Reilly?  You couldn't get a word in edge-wise and say the wrong thing and he'll cut your mic.
I've listened many times to the people who he cuts the mic on (I'm assuming you are referring the the radio show) and more times than not they are stonewalling. Those that are not and hold their own he lets them say their peace. Now if you want rude, really rude listen to Savage. Orielly is a prince compared to Savage.

Get one thing straight Pat.  FOX was designed to undermine Democrats, starting with Clinton.
Umm we are getting into conspiracy theory here? Remember the democrats have ABC, CBS, NBC (big time), MSNBC, CNN and HBO (with Bill Maher) oh and lest not forget PBS and NPR

 It's hugely popular with small-minded people who don't care about the greater good (that's too big a concept) and they play to the lowest common denominator. 
Funny how we outnumber you guys by margins of 2 to 1 so I guess most Americans are small minded.

Now, if you count yourself among these bottom-feeders, well, then by all means, buy yourself a "no spin zone" hat and be proud.

What amazes me is how so many of the viewers of this FOX stuff are poor.  And Republican.  Can you imagine anything more stupid? 
Really? most of the ones I know are programmers like myself making  100-150k
