I think the term "miserable failure" would apply. I thought that video of Trivers was pretty interesting but only David and Kevin G made a comment about it. I sort of thought the people here would be a prime audience for something like a doc about Mr. Trivers and where that might go. Thought it would be cool to explore how we may be genetically wired to move in the directions we do even when our better judgment tells us not to.
People always seem to sit around and ask "How did this (could this) happen?" and I thought this would be a way to explore a piece of the puzzle. The whole idea that the media/political machine keeps getting slicker and better at pulling the wool over our eyes sort of means something in us needs to evolve to cope with that so that we can make decisions that make sense and not just buy what we are sold...which ties into that book about bullshit I mentioned sometime back that Andrea talked about and I think that author would make an appearance in a film on this topic too.
Geez...I thought I was onto something really good...50 some people looked at the Trivers video...nobody was at all moved to make a comment except David and Kevin?
Tell the truth now...how many people thought when they saw "Trivers video" thought it was about music?
