Good article, but like...Duh ...what else is new?  This predicament we are in is decades old.  Most of the oil comes from Arab nations, the American oil supplies are insufficient to become independent of foreign oil sources, or can't be further developed without undue expense and exploration. 

We are oil dependent...get over it.  Solution?  Find other energy sources, but that clearly is not a priority in this administration nor in past administrations.

They raise the gas prices, and guess what...no matter how high they climb, you will have to pay, or stop driving your car.  Wait a god-damned minute, you mean not drive a car?????   How am I supposed to get from my suburban home that is 30 miles from where I work?  I'm not about to take a bus and ride with all those..ugh....people.  I wanna sit alone in my car, and spread out....maybe listen to the radio..etc etc...

Let's have National Bike/Hike to work day.  Just one day. Nobody drive to work.  In that one day, the greedy oil bastards will get the message when the sales plummet. 

This whole oil/car thing just gets me irritated.  I need to move back to Montreal and use the bus and subway system again.
