The first time I saw Cheap Trick, I had not heard of them. They were just about to break loose behind the Live album but it had not found my ears as of yet.

It was billed as Dog Day Afternoon if my memory serves and it was downtown Atlanta ( Grant Park Maybe?)

Cheap Trick opened the show followed by Heart, Foreigner, Bob Seger and The Atlanta Rythym Section.

This was back when Heart looked all sweet and innocent in their long flowing dresses, before they went into their Xena the Warrior Princess costume phase.

If you have not seen the Michael Moore movie "The Big One" pick it up. It is a great movie and Rick Nielson has a funny cameo.
