I'm hitting my head against a wall here, Pat. Are you suggesting we should invade and attempt to occupy Iran? I could see a quick strike at their nuclear facilities, but occupation is out of the question. It's the occupation of muslim land that is the rallying cry of the new recruits.
No not at all. What I'm saying is that we can seal our borders and feel safe but at the same time the countries that are pumping out these homicidal maniacs continues.
Eventually the problem would lessen if:
1. We drowned out their source of funding
2. We get the people within these countries to stand up to them
#1 seems to be a possibility but #2 does not. So that leaves us military force against the terrorists. Who else in the world other than the U.S. will make a stand?
