I just realized why Lott's stupid statements have created such a shitstorm among the Democrats; if they yell and scream enough and create enough outrage maybe, just maybe, he'll either step down himself or he'll be forced to step down by his own party. And if that happens guess what happens? The GOP will lose their majority in the Senate.
