Whatever it is you think you're seeing in that Marine's face in the photo is likely the projection of your own opinion. Looks to me that he's displaying the stance he's been trained to portray: poker face. He could have a giant erection for John Kerry for all you know....
It's amazing how these sources can take one "quote" and present it like it represents anything at all. My understanding is that Marines are supposed to be non-partisan. "Yes, sir" and "no Sir" are appropriate responses to any public situation. I think that you're trying to make something of nothing here and if you have any substantial concerns about Kerry why not put 'em on the table?
