I have to assume your question is intended to be "cute" since I know you're a smart guy and you have web access so I know you haven't been living in a cave the past three years.

I'm reading the 9/11 report right now but have only made it thru the first two chapters. I'll be happy to express my opinion on it when I'm done (and you know you can count on me for that!)

As to lies; well, a few come to mind: Colin Powell at the UN asserting with charts and aerial photos that the WMD were a real and immediate threat; Bush's State of the Union address asserting the import of aluminum tubes for the development of WMD's. Oh sure, I bet where you're going with your post is intelligence failures; Bush didn't lie- his intelligence failed. Right? If Bush and his administration didn't bother to check out piles of intelligence reports before they sent nearly a thousand Americans off to die- well, maybe they're not guilty of lying- maybe they're guilty of criminal negligence instead. Are you more comfortable with that concept?

You know I can understand why dumb guys like Bush so much; everybody needs someone to look up to. What I don't get is how you- a smart guy- can will himself to be so stubbornly ignorant in post after post. Come on Kevin. Wake up and smell the bullshit.
