Stark Raving Brad recently said:The overwhelming problem is that the sides are pushing on a flat
plane, like a dinner plate. the yin-yang of it is that there is, and
probably will always be, a nearly 50-50 split among humanity, if it
continues to choose to divide itself into the simplistic dynamic of
'liberal/left' and 'conservative/right'. the fighting would therefore
be infinite.Brad:Your quote above, and your comments of SPHERICAL THINKING
relate to something I discuss in my book, in a chapter entitled
THINKING OCTOPHORUSLY. The word 'octophorus' defines
something has having eight equal components. I describe this
process as the balance between four intersecting axis points:01) Mental vs. Physical02) Intuition vs. Logic03) Emotion vs. Intellect04) Reflex vs. ReasonThe balance of these eight axis points introduce multi-dimensional
thought to any person who wishes to use it. Although it took me
numerous LSD trips to discover this for myself --- I am willing to
share this with the world because of the destruction of CRITICAL
THINKING in our culture. When these eight components are used properly, it is to the benefit
of the individual. I wanted to attempt to describe in understandable
terms how thinking in full multi-dimensionality can benefit the
individual. Also, your understanding of the dualistic dialectic mindfuck that is
perpetrated against those who believe in the RIGHT/LEFT, US/
THEM, BLACK/WHITE vision of the world is correct. This system has
been set in place for a reason, which you so eloquently describe as
producing "infinite fighting." The dialectic model is so sneaky that
those who deny its' existance, prove the very thing they deny. And yes, I do agree that it is also a TOP/BOTTOM situation --- with
them on the TOP and us on the BOTTOM. This fits in so many ways
--- finances, education, development of intellect, social standing,
privilege, and so on, right down the line.Until we can break free of this paradigm (and the one about the
press being liberal) --- we are doomed to keep playing the same
song over and over --- ad nauseum, ad infinitum.KDB = Buffalo, NY USA
