Brad,
can anyone name any 'public-serving' organization that isn't 'compromised' (read: affected in a way that doesn't jibe with your personal beliefs) by the political/societal beliefs of its leaders and workers?
Sure Brad, - how about the YMCA, the Boys and Girls Club, the Red Cross? People across the spectrum seem to support these programs
it's both, it just depends on which outlet you're talking about, it varies from place to place and source to source
That was my point. There used to be three networks. Now there's a bunch not so much dedicated to reporting events accurately, but with an ancillary agenda of generating ad revenue specifically through bias. It's frustrating, having worked a full day, and you just want to find out what's going on - but then in order to do that - you have to spend another 1/2 hour (or more) trying to discern the facts from the politics. Having spinfree news coverage from channel to channel was never an issue until CNN and Fox came along.
sometimes we have to give more than we think we should have to give...but that is the only way that peace is possible. i continue to hope that we can evolve to that.
Ever Hopeful
