Fair enough, but sooner or later, you've got to make your mind up. You're right about me. I've made my mind up that this administration is a menace, that this war is a tragedy, that their economic policies are a disaster, and that prudency demands any reasonable action that will bring about the removal of the people who have brought us to this point. You're also correct that my pre 9/11 take on GW and his associates was less than favorable. I didnt like the father, I didnt like the VP choice, and I dIdn't like the associates, at least the ones I was familiar with. I did try to give them the benefit of the doubt after 9/11 but... Well, nuff said. I've seen enough. And while I wish Kerry were more consistent, and more progressive, he's a grownup and he's a pro, and if he's the guy that's going to get these people out of power, then he's my guy, and I'll fight for him. You can say we don't know the facts til you're blue in the face, but you don't have to be a plumber to notice chronic toilet stoppages and their ensuing odors... I'll flat out say that I think these guys have to go, and only some miraculous event will convince me otherwise. And I don't think you should let my personal charm, such as it may be, dissuade you from your unflattering opinion of me. Your initial reaction was probably correct, and you're welcome to it. David
