*** What is it? ***

It's not the "blindness" that concerns me or frustrates me about this board. It's the selective "deafness" that seems to dominate most posters. I've never pretended to know everything about everything and I'm more than willing to give my opinion to who ever asks for it. Sometimes I'll even give it if people don't ask ;^)).

But what makes me different than the majority of the posters here is this; I want to listen to both sides of an argument. Why? Because I don't know shit. All I know is what I read and what people tell me. I want people to calmly and rationally explain to me why they feel how they feel or believe what they believe. When I hear people refusing to even entertain the possibility they may be wrong then I just walk away. That's what has happening here. Too many people know they're right about everything and they refuse to even consider on alternative opinion. There's one thing I do know; I'll always have an open mind and I'll listen to any rational dissenting idea or opinion. I'll also check my ideology at the door.

There are waaaay too many know-it-alls on this board and in this country. But like I said earlier, none of us know shit. All we have is our opinions and believe it or not, in the end, some of us will probably be very wrong. I've never had a problem admitting I was (or may be) wrong about anything. I've been wrong before and I know I will be again. Just once I'd like to hear some of you say the same thing.
