The Drudgereport listed this guy as the source. This guy is one of the dark knights of opposition research. A while back he did something really nasty but I can't recall what it was, however, he was recently working for Wes Clark after being fired by the Kerry campaign.

A few weeks ago he was on Chris Matthews' Hardball and was asked if he was fired or not. He hemmed and hawed and dropped a turd bomb in the conversation and Matthews actually kept on about the fired angle.

But LeHane is a practicioner of scorched earth politics and capable of such smear attacks.
