Kevin. Please show me some quotes or something to back up what you're saying about Kerry belittling Bush's service record (except for the election stunt on the aircraft carrier...which Bush brought on his self). Bush is not being honest about his service and that is what Kerry is questioning. Again, wouldn't it make more sense if George would just tell the truth instead of the riddle-like answer he gave on MTP...it was like "I was in the guard, I flew a fighter jet, I was honorably discharched."...or something disjointed like that. Wouldn't it make more sense to just set the record straight. This comes at a time in his presidency when his credibility is being questioned. Why risk further doubt. And that is what Kerry is hammering on....not on Bush's service record per se...but rather Bush's lack of forthrightness about it. Am I missing your point here Kevin?
