Unfortunately their website is still on the December issue, so it might be a little time before the new articles are posted. A good thing about the Atlantic website is that they will let you down load the articles.

But other good articles are found on the site page.

And I'd suggest reading several past ones. They had a really good one on Saudia Arabia a while back.

The Atlantic has done some wonderful journalism this last year, as has the New Yorker.

As for Rumsfeld's original request, the pre-war commanders were wanting hundreds of thousands and thse same planners argued before hand that post-war would be harder than the actual war....but of course Rummy ignored this completely....

They are really good articles----very telling....
