The one thing no-one broached in this thread is the Democrats failed to articulate a compelling narrative. They just kept to the old saw of incremental change and following the path of least resistance. Nothing new or bold, just 'meh'. When did I think we lost this? When Liz Cheney walked on stage with Kamala Harris and James Carvell started showing up on news shows, almost simultaneously. I knew at that point that the old guard had taken control of the campaign and we were fucked. The leadership has to go and make room for new voices.
Also concerning, there was a poll conducted of non voters after the election. When asked why they sat this one out, 70% said Biden's Israel policy. Genocide does NOT sell.
