I don't think anything I am saying is particularly surprising. Basically, the way someone gets elected president of this country, all of the years i have been alive, is they must pull in votes and appeal to people across the spectrum. It does not matter what party they are from, if they are going to win they have to get votes from both Republicans and Democrats and independents. That was how Trump won in 2016. It was how Biden won in 2020.

Basically, as a presidential candidate, the only path to victory is to get votes from and appeal to voters from the left, right, and middle.  Trump has made no appeal to voters outside of the MAGA-verse. In fact he seems to be just going deeper and deeper into only appealing to the weirdest and wackiest of that crowd.

He's posting Q-Anon stuff and I think the Q-Anon thing ended a while ago. So outside of some hardcore wackos, I don't think that is even a thing anymore. And he is trying to appeal to them. A small group of nutjobs.  When he does that, and he keeps doing it, he turns off other voters...voters from across the spectrum.

So, all this clown does, intentionally, is shrink the base of people that might or could support him.  I don't really count guys like Barr, McConnell, and Sununu, they are just being party hacks, saying they will support the Republican ticket. That's what they are told to do, asked to do by others in the party, and they really, until they are done with politics, can't say things that reflect that they have turned on their party.

When I saw that stuff with Sununu saying he now supports Trump, to me, he looked a bit peeved having to do that. He threw everything at helping Haley beat Trump, that failed, Trump is the nominee, he now has to fall in line. The stuff he said was nonsense, I think he knew it was nonsense, and that is why he seemed so over the top nuts/angry when he said it.

The problem remains though, Trump himself, is bad for his own campaign. He either does not care, or does not understand what he is doing. There is no Trump campaign really. He's got no field offices, I think Biden has 500 field offices. He has destroyed the RNC and now they are not doing voter outreach either. Nor are they working to help the campaigns or chances of other Republicans. They have just been rolled up into the Trump funding machine, where the money is meant to be spent on only him and his expenses.

Trump is trying to run on the idea that he is a martyr that is being crucified by the evil Joe Biden. It is utter nonsense to anybody with just a few working braincells. None of that martyr stuff is going to win over new voters. It only plays with the MAGA fools. Again, a small group.

Biden is not the strongest candidate, he's got Israel trying to bury him, Putin trying to bury him, China trying to bury him, Saudi Arabia trying to bury him. But Trump is a self-defeating nitwit. He's got other self-defeating nitwits working for him in Congress. It's kind of mind-blowing how stupid they are though.

I know in the swing states the margins are likely to be small and I know Bobby Kennedy could eat into the margins causing some sort of catastrophe but Bobby does seem to be trying to appeal more to the MAGA crowd lately than to anybody that is not crazy or brain damaged. So, my worries have dropped a bit on him, still I wish he would drop out.

I don't want to make anybody think, "Oh, I don't have to vote, this is all under control." I definitely want to see turnout because the better the turnout the better the chance that the Democrats will win.

I think Trump's plan of campaigning from courthouses could be starting to really hurt him too. I think the normal people watching that are more than a little disgusted by it. It really is not a good look for him.

Yeah, Stormy was a one night stand but the other woman, Karen McDougal, that was a 10 month affair and that was the one he was most concerned about coming out. They were hooking up at least 5 times a month. I know with some of the MAGA crowd Trump could rape their wives, mothers, and children and they would still say he was the greatest president ever and that he is doing god's work, but again...that's not a bit group of people and not one that can win him an election.
