and NOT just from you, Reg, is there is NO WAY he can win. People won’t vote for trump because he had a one night stand with an adult film star and an affair with a Playmate and he also _________ (fill in the blank with any outrageous behavior that would once made candidates immediately irrelevant). They don't care if TFG does those things, they'll still vote for him.

I know he’s only talking to his “base” but his base are not the only people planning on voting for him. Some republicans (e.g. Liz Cheney, Cassidy Hutchinson; Michael Steele, Olivia Troye, etc) will vote Biden but so, so many (like those fundamentalist Christians who sit in church Sunday mornings and evenings and Wednesday nights and are told who they better vote for and it’s NOT Biden. Don’t forget, too, how easy and comfortable trump has made it for so so many to FINALLY stop holding in all of their racist, misogynist, anti LGBTQIA+ feelings. They’re not going to give up on him just because he gave some money to some “whores” he “f*cked” (those would be their words not mine). 

In my previous post where I said something about republicans thinking Democrats have horns and  that they eat babies, I’m not too far off from kidding. Many, many, many republicans - not MAGA necessarily - but repubs, really think we are the devil incarnate and the last thing they’d do is even CONSIDER casting a ballot for a Democrat. 

I know I probably sound like a broken record but I’m truly concerned. I was at a Democratic Party of Georgia State Committee Meeting today and had a chance to talk to several Georgia Dem leaders. I’m not alone in having an ominous 2016-2.0 feeling with so many thinking “decent” repubs won’t vote for him.  They will. We just need to vote. I said before we need to make sure 2 or 3 people vote but, that should probably be increased to making sure we get 5 people to vote. Then ask each one of them to make sure 5 people vote, and so on.

If anyone wants to do anything to help get out more blue voters someplace that’s more red than where you live— like idk Marge Taylor Greene’s district for instance— just let me know. I can give you ideas about what candidates or county Democratic parties would be good to donate to in GA's 14th Congressional District or who has something you could volunteer to do from wherever you live that won’t really cost you much, if any money. I'm going to be working to help a county next door to my county resurrect their County Democratic Committee so that they can get the Democrats they do have in their rural county to realize that they are not the only Democrat in the county-they have others all around. If they realize there are other Democrats around, then they will start thinking, "Hey, maybe my vote CAN make a difference." so they'll be more likely to vote.

That's how we will win is by getting the blue voters out to make sure they vote. We won't worry about changing minds of Republicans. If someone is TRULY undecided we can help sway their vote. Otherwise, it really is about telling Democrats in these ruby red areas "You Are Not Alone" and from there helping them see that they HAVE to vote because their vote REALLY WILL help Biden beat trump in Georgia (or in other states).

Anyway, I'll try to quit harping on it. I know what I can do!!! Instead of saying all of this ^^^ over and over, I'll just start posting things people can do from afar to help make sure trump understands after this election that he really LOST Georgia because the Democratic vote margin will be sooo much higher than it was in 2020!
