Icon Hope is really important...

We gotta have hope. I just think the signs point to the Republican party having a horrible crash. Letting Trump have the wheel is letting the drunkest guy at the party drive. When you see that car sail off into the night, swerving all over the road, you know it is most likely going to end badly. Of course his friends, Marg, Jim, Matt...they are stupid and drunk enough to get in the car with him.

I'm not saying it is likely, but it is possible, that the folks that understand this in the party are letting these people drive off to crash the car and then pick-up the pieces later. Letting these morons openly demonstrate how lousy their judgement is. Sure, it's not the best way to approach it, someone should have taken the keys away from them long ago and yes, they may kill more innocent bystanders on their drunken escapade, but we are not at their party. They don't listen to us. So, all of this is on the Republicans. It's their party, they made their choices. The Democrats can't stop them, we can't stop them, these are reckless drunk morons that are going to make this mistake while we sit here going "Oh, my god. This is going to be awful."

Trump is down in Waco today trying to incite his fanbase to start killing people. Margorie Greene has already called for Civil War in our country. She wants to split the country into two different countries. These people are just openly saying "Fuck the USA!" and I think it is starting to catch up with them...fast.

We can't change the mind of a MAGA nut. They are locked in. However, a long time friend of mine that is a "recovered Republican" says this is how they have to learn. They have to have the horrible thing happen, and then they say "Oh, maybe that was a bad idea."

That's how they learn. It's not the best way, it could be tragic, but some of them are going to catch on.

It's sad, but if Pat has really figured out finally that the Republican party needs to back away from Trump, and he likes DeSantis...well...it's too late. At this moment, I think Trump is going to crush all the bozos running against him and probably easily win the Republican primary. If he does, that pretty much locks them into a loss. There will be another giant turnout that includes Democrats, Republicans, Independents that all go against him and he will win his base. It will be an even bigger loss than his 2020 run and FOX won't be pretending this time that he won.

I think the Republicans that want to be rid of Trump, would rather let him get buried that way, than actually speak up against him and have to suffer his abuse and death threats.
