The arrest of the 13 screwballs scheming to kidnap and perhaps execute Michigan governor, Gretchen Whitmer, plus yesterday's arrest or identification of a  right-wing George Floyd demonstrator, gives me pause in my concern of post election madness.

The FBI, the military, the career intelligence people, all of whom have been diminished by this narcissistic, power hungry, mental 12 year old, will not, in my opinion, act in any way to serve Trump who has no army except members of his base.

Barr has been strangely silent, perhaps ill with covid-19.  Without him, Trump's co-conspirator in election over-throw, without the military, without local police forces, any attempt to keep his office beyond Jan inauguration will be a giant firecracker without a fuse.

I have to believe that men who can actually do something to thwart this malevolent dreamer, such as retired military Generals,, aren't just sitting back and ignoring the threat to our Democracy.  Active military consider the oath they've taken to defend the constitution as sacred.  Trump considers it trash.

Too, as someone mused yesterday, what if the virus has spread so much by election day, Trumps supporters are too worried to go to the polls.  I wonder if Trump's bags are already packed.
