A healthy percentage of our species seems to be hardwired to NEED to believe in this, and similar nonsense! It's more than a want or a desire, it's a NEED!  And the highjacking of minds can occur in the blink of an eye, and in large numbers. Those percentage of Republicans who identify with QAnon is beyond shocking, Reg. I remember there's a healthy percentage who also no longer favor democracy, do the venn diagrams overlap for them?

All of us should question what we think we know, and how we justify our confidence in what we think we know. But that would lead us to leave our comfort zones, and we're normally disinclined to do such things.
