USA needs a better striker than Altidore, who fails too often. Backline is weak, too. Love the midfielder and goalkeeper play. For what it's worth, I thought the phantom offsides call may have been correct (but only just).

Algeria's side played a very physical and careless match as befits their reputation. Just ask the Egyptians.

As for France, Thierry Henry has asked to meet with Sarkozy. Absurd that a sporting event would get mixed with politics to this extent. Shouldn't Sarko have something important to do?
