In looking through my ten or so books on JIMI HENDRIX and his spiritual message to the universe --- there is not even a single entry or reference in the indices to the books that refers to BLIND LEMON MURPHY.

Not even Kathy Etchingham's book mentions this --- Kathy was JIMI's girlfriend when he lived in London.

Sorry mate --- you are simply DEAD WRONG ON THIS!

I even consulted the scholarly book CROSSTOWN TRAFFIC by Charles Shaar Murray --- this book is a look at the specific influences that JIMI drew upon --- this BLIND LEMON MURPHY is not in this book, either.

You may be right however --- he may be a legend in his own mind.
